How We Research

Every profile published on Late Magazine is built from multiple sources, which may include:

  • Official websites, social media accounts, and press releases from the subject or their representatives
  • Established news organizations and their published reporting
  • Government and public records, where applicable (court filings, parliamentary records, company registries)
  • Verified interviews and on-the-record statements
  • Award organizations and industry databases
  • Financial publications and celebrity net worth estimators, for wealth-related figures

We do not rely on a single source for any significant claim. Where sources disagree on a fact, such as a date, a figure, or a spelling, we say so directly rather than silently picking one version.

How We Handle Net Worth Estimates

Net worth figures for private individuals and public figures are almost never a matter of public record. When we publish an estimate, we:

  • Attribute it to the type of source it came from (a specific outlet, or “publicly available estimates,” depending on how well-confirmed it is)
  • Present a range where sources disagree, rather than a single figure
  • Never attribute a number to a named outlet unless we directly confirmed that figure came from that outlet
  • Include a disclaimer noting that we do not have access to private financial records and do not present these figures as confirmed or audited

How We Handle Private Individuals

When a person is primarily known through their connection to a public figure, such as a spouse, family member, or associate, rather than through their own public life, we limit personal identifying details about them (exact birthdate, home address, employer, legal name history) to what is necessary for context and already widely public. We focus coverage on the public figure and matters of genuine public interest.

Corrections

If you believe an article contains an error, please contact us through our Contact page with the article URL and a description of the issue. We review every correction request and update articles promptly when an error is confirmed. Significant corrections are noted within the article itself.

Currency

We aim to keep our most-read profiles updated as new, verifiable information becomes available, rather than leaving them static after initial publication. Articles include a “last updated” date so readers know how current the information is.
